Highlights from Vitafoods Asia and SupplySide West

Let us start with looking back at Vitafoods Asia, which was held from September 18th to 20th in Bangkok, Thailand. This year Vitafoods Asia attracted over 13.000 industry experts from more than 70 countries. Vitafoods Asia is considered Asia’s leading nutraceutical industry event where latest trends, innovations and industry leaders meet – an excellent opportunity for us to showcase our most recent ingredients. This year our highlight was launching an innovative, next-generation active ingredient MintyBright™ Nu derived from apple mint (Mentha suaveolens) leaves. MintyBright™ Nu was specifically designed to enhance skin lightening. MintyBright™ Nu is rich in antioxidative flavonoids known to influence skin pigment production. A study revealed significant improvements in skin lightness, the reduction of hyperpigmentation and improved skin tone evenness. This innovative active ingredient sparked the attention of the market, and we enjoyed the following days filled with interesting meetings, discussions, and networking. 

MintyBright™ Nu is an easy-to-formulate powder extract that is suitable for all common application formats. At the exhibition, we sampled very delicious powder drink sachets.

Another highlight this year was attending the SupplySide West 2024 which was held in Las Vegas from October 28th to 31st. This globally renowned exhibition attracts yearly more than 20.000 nutrition & health professionals as well as 1.500 exhibitors from over 80 countries.

Our international team introduced the US market to our innovative, next-generation active ingredient for healthy aging - MonaJuventa™ Nu. It is derived from the scarlet beebalm (Monarda didyma) with a fascinating mode of action that has been shown to target key biological aging processes. Several cellular tests have shown the ability of MonaJuventa™ Nu to slowdown the aging process by preventing epigenetic aging, telomere shortening, accumulation of senescent cells, as well as protecting cells from oxidative stress, and improving mitochondrial dysfunction. Such effects have been confirmed by a placebo-controlled clinical trial.

One of the event highlights was MonaJuventa™ Nu being featured in the New Product Zone, which spotlights the latest product developments, drawing attention to emerging trends and innovative solutions. MonaJuventa™ Nu is suitable for many forms of food supplements. At the trade fair, visitors could taste MonaJuventa™ Nu added into delicious herbal sweets.

To summarize, this year we launched two innovative new products MintyBright™ Nu and MonaJuventa™ Nu, attended several trade shows and are already looking forward to the next Vitafoods Asia and the SupplySide West in the following year.
