New peer-reviewed publication on EpiCalsome™

Exciting news! A new peer-reviewed publication on EpiCalsome™ is now available online, discussing the science and innovation of our novel double cone vector system.

We are happy to announce that our latest research on EpiCalsome™ is officially peer-reviewed and published in the “International Journal of Cosmetic Science”. Once again, our studies went through a strict evaluation by top experts in the field, ensuring credibility and contributing valuable insights. By sharing our findings in this trusted way, we're not just exchanging knowledge and promoting transparency, but also establishing Mibelle Biochemistry as your go-to source for cutting-edge advancements.

In this journal article, we discuss the efficacy of EpiCalsome™, a novel double cone Ca2+ vector system, in improving the damaged skin barrier. In stressed or aged skin, a compromised barrier often results from a deficient calcium gradient. EpiCalsomeTM represents an innovative double cone vector system that encapsulates calcium for a simple and efficient delivery of bioavailable calcium to the skin (patent-pending application).

In vitro and in vivo studies have demonstrated that EpiCalsome™:

  • Improves epidermal barrier function by increasing the expression of important barrier-forming proteins
  • Regenerates epidermal barrier formation when calcium levels are low
  • Provides immediate and long-term skin protection against harsh irritants
  • Accelerates skin recovery and regeneration.

This breakthrough underscores the successful delivery of bioavailable Ca2+ ions, presenting a promising solution for damaged skin barriers of stressed, aged, or atopic skin.
